Located at 91 Cochranes Road, Moorabbin, Victoria 3189.
Established in 1991, it has seen over 60,000 rehearsals since opening.
In addition to the studios we offer a Pro Shop (Jimmy Hornet) and licensed bar and venue (The Chandelier Room).
The studio component of the business comprises 16 individually air-conditioned studios. All studios have a minimum of 3 vocal mics (either Shure, Samson or Proel). More can be requested, subject to availability.
Studio 1 - 5.5m x 8.0m
2 x full range cabinets, fitted with 2 x 15” JBL 2225 & 1 x JBL 2445 2” HF driver. Both cabinets are flown left and right in the studio. Additionally, there are 2 x Formula Blue wedges (15"LF & 1.25"HF) on an aux send from the console.
1 x 16 channel Soundcraft Spirit console.
1 x SPX990 effects unit
2 x Jands 510 amplifiers (running active xover for flown cabinets) - total power 2000w RMS
1 x Proel HPD1000 amplifier to run the Formula Blue monitors - total power 1000w RMS
Studio 2 - 5.5m x 8.0m
2 x side fills - 1 x 15" JBL 2225 & 1 x JBL2415 1" HF driver. both active.
2 x foldback - Martin Audio LE300 15" wedges
1 x 16 channel Soundcraft Spirit console.
1 x SPX990 effects unit
2 x Jands 510 amplifiers (running active xover for flown cabinets) - total power 2000w RMS
Studios 3 to16 - 4.5m x 5.5m
Studios are fitted with a mix of Soundcraft Spirit or Proel M Series 8 channel mixing consoles
2 x JBL or Proel 15" & 1" full range cabinets
1 x Sound Solution amp/graphic or Proel amplifiers - total power 500w RMS
1 x Yamaha R100 or console-fitted DSP effects in every studio |
